#Seminar activitiesParticipated in the University of Nagasaki Joint Seminar Report Meeting
On December 16 (Saturday), two teams participated in a joint seminar briefing held at the University of Nagasaki Sasebo Campus as Nagahama Seminar. At the twelfth meeting, we are becoming the traditional event of the University of Nagasaki. It is a place where 19 teams participate and report daily research results.
We reported on the transformation of death in modern times: focusing on the establishment of funeral services in Japan, the United States and Britain, and the history of sustainability—from the perspective of the collapse of civilization." The report of "Transformation of Death in Modernity" received the highest score in peer review. At the award ceremony, Tatsuyuki Tsuna, Dean of the Faculty of Regional Creation, was honored to receive the award.
In the preparation of the report, we had a hard time with the discussion. Also, when creating PowerPoint, it was necessary to stick to the color of the characters in order to make it easier for audiences to see, so I worked on it. From the participating students, "At this research presentation, I was able to learn about the perspectives I couldn't imagine and the contents of my research through exchanges with the people of the University of Nagasaki." "? In some cases, I couldn't contribute to my research, and there were places where I was stuck, but I did trial and error, ingenuity, and repeated discussions over and over again. The efforts were an important memory for me, "and seemed to be able to realize the growth strongly. Such interaction with other universities is one of the learnings at the university, and it is important for Nagahama seminars.
After the debriefing session, he also touched on the culture of porcelain such as Arida and Hasami. It was also time to think about the meaning of local traditional industries that I do not usually touch. In addition, the fourth graders also actively supported me, and I feel that the team strength has increased significantly.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all those involved in the University of Nagasaki and all those who have responded in various regions for their support in the growth of the students.
