Overseas experience in class subjects

International Internship

After attending pre-training, submitting reports, and participating in debriefing sessions, you will be certified as a unit (2 credits) in the fall semester. The internship is held during the summer vacation.

Qingdao City (China) 1-2 weeks, Busan Metropolitan City (Korea) 1 week (5 days or more), Singapore 5 days, Taipei.
The briefing is scheduled for April and May.

Private expense study abroad

You can study abroad individually at a university or language school. There are various options for studying abroad, such as short-term study at our partner schools, affiliated language schools, other universities and universities, and language schools attached to other universities and universities.
In the past, some students have used vacations in Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Thailand, Korea, etc., or have taken a long-term study abroad for private expenses.
International Exchange Center also helps you to introduce your own study abroad program.

Self-approved private expenses

For the purpose of credit compatibility recognition for our class subjects, taking a leave of our university and studying abroad at an agreement school is called "unit-certified private expense study abroad."
Students who wish to study abroad are required to fill out the “Application for Approval” must fill out the “Application for Approval” and submit it to the International Exchange Center with the required documents. This procedure is performed before you start studying abroad, and you will be approved that the student who wants to study abroad is an educational institution suitable for credit recognition and that it is the study period required for credit certification.
If you have been approved as a study abroad suitable for "unit-certified private expenses study abroad" prior to the start of study abroad, you can submit an application form and a set of documents certifying the credits earned at the study abroad destination by the date specified by the Educational Affairs Divisiton.


Working holiday

Based on arrangements between the two countries and regions, each of them provides a certain period of time in their own countries and regions with the opportunity to understand the culture and general lifestyle of their own country / region. This is a system that allows each other to spend a certain period of time off and work to compensate for the stay expenses during that time.

Overseas Volunteers

Respect each other's values, lifestyles, and culture, interact directly and interact with each other, addressing issues facing the country's society, such as poverty, environmental issues, and educational issues, and contribute to economic and social development. Volunteers.
Overseas volunteers are offered by various organizations and companies. Please come to International Exchange Center for consultation before applying for participation.


Others

Shimonoseki City and non-profit organizations may be looking for overseas dispatchers for international exchange. For example, the Shimonoseki Lions Club, the Shimonoseki Rotary Club, Shimonoseki Youth Chamber, etc., conduct mutual exchanges in China, Korea and Taiwan every year.
