Education and research rooted in the community as an intellectual center for local communities

As a public university established in local cities, it is our important duty to contribute to the creation of rich communities. To this end, we believe that our education and research must be deeply rooted in the community. We think about various problems that local communities have with citizens and explore solutions. On the other hand, we will actively open and utilize the intellectual resources of the university in order to respond to citizens' lifelong learning. The university aims to become an intellectual center of the local community as a place for such a "citizen's university", that is, a place for knowledge exchange and creation with citizens.
