Three Philosophy
Creation of new knowledge based on the integration of education and research
A university is a joint organization that aims to create new knowledge by holding hands together with students and faculty members. To this end, faculty members are required not only to their research abilities, but also to have educational skills that can fully reflect their own research results in their education. Students are also required to enhance their ability to learn and demonstrate their vigorous research, without staying in the passive attitude of receiving teaching. We will strive to create new knowledge by maintaining this kind of integration between education and research, enhancing the educational and research abilities of faculty members and the ability to learn together.
Education and research focusing on the world, especially in East Asia.
Shimonoseki, surrounded by the sea on three sides, has been a junction of human and physical exchanges with the Korean Peninsula and the continent since ancient times, and various international relations have been formed so that the concentric circle expands based on this.
