Student education and research disaster accident insurance

This insurance is a compensation and remedy system for students. Medical insurance, disability insurance, etc. are provided if treated by a doctor for accidental accidents during regular courses such as lectures and school events, injuries caused by extracurricular activities, commuting to school, and breaks on campus (both domestic and overseas). All members are enrolled at the time of enrollment. However, the insurance period at the time of enrollment is the shortest enrollment period, so if you take a leave of absence or leave of absence, be sure to complete the procedures at Student Support Division. If you are injured in the accident, please report to Student Support Division immediately.

When eligible for medical insurance payment

The number of treatment days is the actual number of treatment days (the number of days actually hospitalized or hospitalized) between the day when the treatment is started after injury and the "date when the treatment deemed necessary by the doctor is completed".

Gakken incidental liability insurance

Under this insurance, insurance claims will be paid if a student is liable for legal damages due to injury to another person or damage to another person's property at regular classes, school events and round trips in Japan and overseas. Extracurricular activities covered by Gakken incidental liability insurance are internships or volunteer activities conducted by an on-campus student group that has been approved as an organization for the purpose of conducting internships or volunteer activities through prescribed procedures in accordance with university rules.
