AED (automated external defibrillator)

AED is a medical device that automatically analyzes the electrocardiogram when the heart has lost its function, gives an electric shock only when necessary, and returns it to normal work.
AEDs are permitted to be used by the general public, and only follow the audio guide, attach the electrode pad to the victim's chest and press the button of the electric shock. If the heart or breathing suddenly stops during classes such as sports practice or extracurricular activities, it is important to take appropriate measures for those who are nearby before the ambulance arrives. AEDs have been installed as follows, so please use them for lifesaving treatment.

AED installation location (as of April 2023)

(1)
Main Building I, 1st floor in front of Executive Office
(2)
SDS Shimonoseki Driving Arena (Gymnasium) sub arena

(4)
Alumni Hall 1st floor entrance hall
(5)
Lecture Block B 1st floor entrance hall

In case of emergency ...
If a person who does not respond at all and is not breathing falls on campus, first ask the people around you for help. At that time, be sure to contact the nearby faculty and staff. It is dangerous for the discoverer to call someone or go to get an AED to leave the patient alone.
