PBL (problem-solving learning)
Problem-solving learning PBL, industry-government-academia collaboration
PBL is a subject in which students work on issues and issues from companies and governments while receiving guidance from working adults on issues and issues.
Through PBL, students can learn the importance of building teamwork and improve their communication skills.
In December, a debriefing session will be held with companies and governments, and students will make presentations. The activity report will be compiled at the end of January based on the content of the interim report meeting.
In response to the globalization of society and industry, we are implementing this program overseas.

Aggressive attitude and initiatives that lead to many business negotiations
Theme: Business support at international food business meetings
Seven second- and third-year students participated in international food business talks and conducted PR and business talks in Shimonoseki City. Over six months for this day, we conducted company tours as interviews and product research to deepen product understanding, and devised so that the appeal of the product can be conveyed in our own words. The team worked together to create posters mainly for second graders, business negotiations materials mainly for third graders, and consider booths and designs that would attract buyers.
Through this activity, I realized that it would lead to the development of new sales channels for companies depending on my way of communication. In addition, active communication and initiatives, such as making appointments to companies and listening to actual voices, have been an experience that can be used when becoming a member of society. With the goal of becoming a Shimonoseki City Hall staff, I would like to continue to act positively without forgetting this attitude.
