Five Powers Developed in Bachelor's Program
Shimonoseki City University trains well-balanced, well-cultivated advanced professionals with knowledge and abilities that can contribute to the development of local communities and the international community. In addition, the developed index "ESLO" is used to visualize the strengths of each student and the extent of learning.
The ability to be interested in social and local issues, to understand the role that should be recognized and played in the environment in which they are placed, and to motivate them to realize them.
The ability to express one's opinion and discuss with others by properly creating sentences and presentations, and to work with others to realize new ideas based on creativity and flexibility in thinking.
Based on knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and information processing, the ability to collect information necessary for solving problems and appropriately analyze the collected information.
The ability to collect and analyze information in a language that is not your native language, based on knowledge and understanding of different cultures, and communicate by expressing one's own ideas.
Ability to possess knowledge and skills in specialized fields and utilize them to solve problems and develop society.
