  1. When is the entrance ceremony? 3/27 update
    The event will be held on April 3, 2024 (Wednesday). Family members are also welcome to visit. No shoes are required.
    Cars cannot enter the premises. Please use public transportation or nearby toll parking lots.

  2. What kind of clothes should I wear at the entrance ceremony?
    Although there is no particular designation, most people wear suits every year.
  3. Do you need a laptop?
    If you are in Faculty of Economics, please check "Preparation of PC".

  4. How much is the textbook fee? It depends on the faculty / department to which you belong and the number of subjects you take, but it seems that the range of 15,000 yen to 30,000 yen only for the first semester of the first year.
    Some classes do not require textbooks, so the costs required for individuals will change.
    Textbooks will be sold at the University Co-op Shop in April.

We conduct questionnaires to improve the system and initiatives related to entrance examinations at the University. Please cooperate with the answer.
The questionnaire uses Google's service called Google Form.

F About pre-enrollment education * School recommendation type selection

  1. Implementation of pre-enrollment education

    Waseda University provides pre-enrollment education for those who have passed the school recommendation type selection (regional recommendation / national recommendation). Pre-enrollment education is to confirm the basic academic skills required for post-enrollment education. As a general rule, all students will be required to attend the course.

    Please refer to [Education before enrollment (implementation guidelines)] in 2. below and apply for it yourself and attend the course. Recommended courses vary from department to department, but let's take one of them.
