These data, which was previously difficult to use, can now be collected and accumulated due to the development of information and communication technology, and can now be analyzed from various angles. By analyzing a lot of data, new knowledge is found and creating many business opportunities.

In this context of changes in social situations, we plan to establish a Faculty of Data Science in FY2024 to foster highly professionals who create new value from data. The new faculty will develop human resources who have acquired statistical and mathematical knowledge to analyze data and algorithms such as artificial intelligence. In addition, in order to analyze data, you also need knowledge about the data itself. Our university focused on "business field" and "health field". By learning the subjects of "Business Data Science" and "Health Data Science", you can acquire not only analytical method but also a wide range of social science knowledge.

Our university is very short distance between students and communication is also active. Discovering new knowledge is not something that can be achieved alone, but from communication discussions with many friends. I would like to create a "Faculty of Data Science" where new knowledge is created from the communication between many students, students and teachers inside and outside campus.
