Study Abroad (from Shimonoseki City University to overseas)

Study Abroad (Student Study Abroad)

Dispatched study abroad refers to studying abroad at an overseas partner school while enrolled in our university for one semester (1 cemester) to one year (two semensters). This study period is included in the four-year study term.
In addition, credits earned at the university to which you are dispatched will be certified as credits for our course subject after returning to Japan. The application period is as follows. (Please refer to Tables 1 and 2)
In order to apply for a study abroad to each university, there are conditions such as necessary qualifications and language level.
Also, if you decide to be a dispatched student, you will also participate in the Global Mission Program.

(2)How to apply for a study abroad program

Application guidelines

Submit the following documents to International Exchange Center by the application date

  1. Dispatched Student Application Form (English ○ Chinese / Korean)
  2. Reason for applying for a dispatched student (within 800 characters)
  3. Self-recommended sentences (up to 400 characters)
  4. Documents proving the required language level
    (Temporary reception is possible with the qualification test admission ticket when applying. However, it is necessary to submit a result notice before the interview test. )
  5. Application for Permission to Study Abroad
  6. Written pledge to study abroad
  7. Other documents required by International Exchange Center
