Study Abroad (from Shimonoseki City University to Overseas)

Study Abroad (Student Study Abroad)

Dispatched study abroad means studying abroad at an overseas partner university while enrolled in the university for one semester (one semester) to one year (two semesters). This study period is included in the 4-year period of study.
In addition, credits earned at the host university will be credited to the university's courses after returning to Japan through the prescribed procedures. The application period is as follows. (Please refer to Table 1 and Table 2.)
In order to apply for a study abroad program at each university, there are conditions such as necessary qualifications and language level.
If you decide to be a dispatched student, you will also participate in the Global Mission Program.

Application Guidelines

Submit the following documents to International Exchange Center by the date of application

  1. Application Form for Dispatched Students (O English, Chinese, Korean)
  2. Reason for Application for Dispatched Students (up to 800 characters)
  3. Self-recommendation letter (within 400 characters)
  4. Documents to prove the required language level
    (At the time of application, temporary acceptance is possible with the admission ticket for the qualification examination. However, it is necessary to submit a notice of results before the interview test.
  5. Application for Permission to Study Abroad
  6. Study Abroad Pledge
  7. Other documents required by International Exchange Center
