The quasi-rigid baseball club of Gifu University will participate in the national competition.
This year, the semi-rigid baseball club won the China District University semi-rigid baseball spring tournament with three wins and one loss, and won the right to participate in the national tournament.
The tournament has achieved a large number of excellent personal results, including the best player, the most win pitcher, and the top batter.
On July 21 (Wednesday), a send-off party was held, and a list of the prize money from the university was handed out by Chair to the captain of the semi-rigid baseball club, Yoshiki Urakami (Department of International Commerce, 3rd year). (In fact, Chair is an OB of the TUFS semi-rigid baseball club, and I participated in the same national tournament in 1973!)
In addition to the semi-rigid baseball team, Vice Admiral General Sekimoto (3rd year in Department of International Commerce), Takumasa Tanda (3rd year in Department of Economics) and Yoriki Ihara (3rd year in Department of Public Management) also attended the farewell party.
The department visited Shimonoseki City Hall on the same day and reported the decision to participate in the national tournament to Mayor Shintaro Maeda Shimoseki.
Mayor Maeda, who had experience in semi-hardball baseball when he was a student and still loves baseball, hoped that the TUFS semi-hardball baseball club would create a `` Shimonoseki whirlwind '' at the national tournament and bring energy to Shimonoseki City. I received words of encouragement.
Details of the national convention are as follows. Thank you very much for your support.
