On September 29, Mayor Shintaro Maeda visited the Department of Public Management class.

The mayor was in charge of the class of "Public Management Practice I", which was "About the public management approach of Shimonoseki City". In order to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic, students sit down at a distance and open windows to give consideration to ventilation.

Mayor Maeda started with a self-introduction from Shimonoseki, and explained the projects he was involved in so far, such as the "Shimonoseki Future Creation Job Fair" and the "Scholarship Return Support Project". . In each case, we will respond to the diversifying and complex needs of citizens and try to realize attractive "cheerful Shimonoseki" with limited financial resources.

Finally, the character "Sekimaru" of the "ALL Shimonoseki Genki Outgoing Project", which started on October 1, also appeared, conveying the enthusiasm for the project.
