On May 28, 2020 (Thursday), Panex Shimonoseki Plant Co., Ltd., which manufactures long life bread in Shimonoseki City, provided long life bread for students of our university.
Long Life Bread, as the name implies, is a bread that can be stored for a long time, and it was a great support for students who have been forced to restrict their part-time jobs and outings due to the influence of COVID-19.
We received more than 500 long-life breads of 26 boxes in cardboard boxes and distributed them to residents of the University Student Center and SCU International Exchange Center during lunch breaks on May 28 and 29, and began distributing them to students who have enrolled in various procedures and job hunting activities from May 29.
The student who received the bread said, "I am relieved that there are a lot of bread that lasts longer," and an international student from Turkey who tried to eat bread immediately said, "Blueberry jam bread was particularly delicious. Croissants also have a nostalgic taste. "
The students will be notified to Panex Corporation at a later date with a letter of appreciation.
The distribution of bread on campus will end as soon as the bread runs out.
