Participated in the final report meeting of Yamaguchi Mirai Restoration School in 2019

On December 26 (Thursday), the final report meeting of "Yamaguchi Mirai Restoration School" was held at the Yamaguchi Prefectural Office, and five students from Okayama University participated.

The students of TUFS gave a presentation (presentation) under the title "< Closed School x Saiko> Project - Connecting Yamaguchi and the World from Closed School". The rough contents are reusing closed schools and lending them to educational YouTubers and artists, enabling class visits, opening exhibitions, etc., and giving them back to local people, depopulation and depopulation. I want to stop the collapse of local communities. By the way, the title "Saiko" contains the idea of "rethinking" local issues, "reviving" closed schools and areas, and making Yamaguchi Prefecture the "highest" area.

In response to the student's presentation, Governor Muraoka Tsugumasa, Yamaguchi Prefecture, said, "It is better to have ideas that can be enjoyed by local people, not just by using closed schools." In addition, the appeal of the area may be transmitted by the people who use it. " Thank you very much for your attention.

After the presentation, an exchange meeting was held, and each school joined together to form a group and looked back on this program and presentation. Finally, the representatives of each school expressed their determination in the future. The student of the university's representative stated that "I would like to continue working hard to realize my aspirations, not to be alone or impose, but to ensure that my thoughts and ideas are properly delivered to the people around me." It seems that this was triggered by a field survey conducted in October (I received advice such as "Can you imagine people's actions accompanying their proposals?") .

The students seemed to be inspired by presentations from other schools, and they acknowledged each other's splendor at the exchange meeting. I think we were able to meet good friends through this program. This year's program is over, but I hope that students will continue to challenge themselves so that they can meet more and more people with aspirations.
