#Community ActivitiesParticipated in Yamaguchi Mirai Restoration School ("Shi" Development Camp)
Yamaguchi Mirai Restoration School (Human Resource Development Project sponsored by Yamaguchi Prefecture) held a "will" development camp at Suisanso (Yamaguchi City) on August 21 (Wednesday) and 22 (Thursday), 2019, and six students (including two international students) participated.
After lectures by George Aida (Co-Representative of Zero One Booster Co., Ltd.), Tomomasa Oikawa (Representative Director of Agricultural Research Institute Co., Ltd.) and Shunsuke Ushida (Representative Director of Habataku Co., Ltd.), Oikawa and Ushida , And a dialogue session with Tsugumasa Muraoka, Governor of Yamaguchi Prefecture. The students hit the instructor and the governor with pre-learning conducted from July to August and ideas and questions based on the lectures. Both the two instructors and the governor spent the time carefully answering the student questions one by one, and also received advice and encouragement from the future. In particular, advice such as "First of all, it is important to actually try what you think is interesting (often you do not understand unless you do so)" and "It is important to enjoy the present while practicing the real thing" I guess it resonated with the students.
It was impressive that each student was talking so hard about what he was thinking now. It seemed that the story was not exhausted, and at the dinner and exchange meeting, discussions with the governor, lecturers, and students from other schools were blossoming. I would like students to interact with many people and come into contact with diverse values. In the future, we plan to conduct field surveys based on discussions at this training camp and shape ideas. I hope that you will enjoy learning while exploring various things.
Thank you very much to everyone involved.
