At 13:30 on June 20, 2019, a ceremony was held at the large conference room on the 5th floor of the main building II, and former professors Shinichi Sakuragi, former professors Hidetsugu Hamada and former professors Hiroshi Yokoyama, who retired on March 31, 2019, were awarded the title of Professor Emeritus. Former Professor Sakuragi and former Professor Hamada were absent due to circumstances.

　It is an honor for President to be awarded the title of Professor Emeritus to three of them. I have been involved in research and education for a long time and have brought up many students. He said that he would like to continue to gain further achievements and give us an example.

　In addition, Professor Emeritus Yokoyama, who attended, has been freed from 40 years of teaching life and has a very comfortable life. From now on, there was a statement that I will continue my research.
