#ScholarshipsAbout the "postpayment system for tuition fees" at the graduate school master's stage
From 2024, the "Tuition Fee Postpaid System" will be introduced for master's courses by the government. This system is a system in which tuition fees are "postpaid" according to income after graduation. When paying after graduation, care will be taken to ensure that payment during the child-rearing period is not excessive.
If you would like to apply for this program, please check the following and contact Student Support Division.

〇 It is not possible to apply only for the loan of living expenses scholarships without applying for tuition support.
〇 If you use tuition support money, you will not be able to receive a first-class scholarship loan.
〇 You can apply for a Type 2 scholarship, regardless of whether you use tuition support money or living expenses scholarship.
〇 Payment of the guarantee fee (subscribing to the institutional guarantee) is mandatory, and the guarantee fee shall be deducted from the above amount, similar to the handling of the guarantee fee in the first-class scholarship.
Notes
・Since this system is a loan, it is mandatory to return it to the Japan Student Services Organization after completion.
・It cannot be used in conjunction with the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) Class 1 Scholarship (lending).
・This system applies only to tuition fees specified in the school rules. Other fees other than tuition fees are not subject to this system.
・The tuition fee will be transferred directly from the Japan Student Services Organization to the university. The scholarship will be transferred to the applicant.
・When using this system, it is mandatory to join the institution guarantee, so tuition support fees (reimbursement of tuition fees) will be lent so that the amount after deducting the guarantee fee will be equivalent to the tuition fee. Living expenses scholarships will be loaned after deducting the guarantee fee from the monthly basis, similar to the current Class I scholarships.
・As with the first-class scholarship (lending), it is eligible for the loan scholarship refund exemption system for excellent performance. However, applicants who are enrolled in the spring of 2024 are not eligible for the return exemption "offer" system, so those who wish here should apply for a regular first-class loan scholarship.
・Those eligible for this program will be deferred to pay all or part of tuition fees for the spring and fall semesters of 2024 until the fall of 2024, when the adoption or rejection is decided. Admission fees and other expenses are not eligible, so please pay by the prescribed method and deadline.
・The living expenses scholarship will be transferred back to the month of employment after the decision to accept or reject. (The minimum transfer is scheduled for November 2024.)
・If you have already paid tuition fees for the first semester of 2024, you will not be eligible for this program in the first semester of 2024. (Applicable from the second half of FY2024)
