Recruitment of JEES MUFG Emergency Support Scholarship (Lump-sum Payment)

The Japan International Education Support Association (JEES) provided an emergency support scholarship (lump-sum payment) aimed at alleviating the anxiety of students affected by the economic expansion of the COVID-19 infection and supporting the continuation of Osamu Gaku.

The application guidelines and application forms (Form 1) are available on the scholarship application page of the Japan International Education Support Association. If you would like to apply, please read the contents carefully and prepare the necessary documents.

<Number of recommended number>	4 people
<Benefit amount>	Lump-sum 100,000 yen per person
<Scheduled payment period>	Scheduled for September 2022
<Eligibility>	Those who fall under all of the following
	（1）	Japanese students enrolled in universities and graduate schools in Japan in April 2022 (permanent residence in Japan) Privately financed international students residing in Japan in April 2022, including those permitted. Those whose status of residence is "College Student"
	（2）	Due to the impact of the COVID-19 infection, economic losses were incurred, leading to the continuation of Osamu Gaku. Those who need financial assistance
	（3）	Those who have not received or are not expected to receive the JEES scholarship or JEES crown scholarship.
	（4）	Those who have excellent characters and are seriously committed to Osamu Gaku.

<Documents to be submitted>	（1）	[Form 1] JEES MUFG Emergency Support Scholarship (Lump-sum Payment) (It will be the power of students to advance in Corona. MUFG Scholarship Application Form 　※Enter the Excel data, print and submit a document with photo data attached. Handwriting is not possible. (The recommender will be required to submit the application form in data at a later date.)
	（2）	[Confirmation items] Items to be confirmed in the Emergency Support Scholarship Application
	（3）	A copy of a passbook that shows the economic situation (living situation) in the last six months
	（4）	Documents that can confirm the situation in financial distress ※If you do not meet the deadline, check at a later date.

<Deadline for submission>	Wednesday, May 25, 2022 17:00
<Submission destination>	Student Support Division International Exchange Center (International Students)
<Selection/Recommendation>	After reviewing the submitted documents, recommending them through on-campus selection, JEES will select and decide.

<Obligation of Scholarship Students>	（1）	Scholarship students are required to use the prescribed format at the end of the fiscal year on learning, research, and living conditions for fiscal 2022. To submit
	（2）	After receiving the scholarship, the scholarship students are requested by the Japan International Education Support Association and donors. Answer questionnaires, etc.
	（3）	Scholarship students should participate as much as possible when exchange meetings are held.

<Notes>	（1）	Inadequacies of documents (such as leakage of entry, lack of submission documents, non-designated submission method) will not be considered.
