#General

We are looking for businesses to install advertising mats on campus. (as needed)

　The University engages in advertising business with the aim of securing self-income and reducing costs by providing personal property or real estate owned as advertising media.
　Therefore, we are recruiting businesses that install advertising mats on campus as follows.
(Reference) There are approximately 2,000 students enrolled in the university, and approximately 100 faculty and staff working in the university.

Application period

　We will recruit from time to time. However, if all installation locations are decided, we will stop recruiting.

Installation location

　Please refer to Attachment 1 “Advertisement Mat Installation Location Map”.
　If you wish to install it in a place other than recruiting this time, we will consider it separately.

Installation period

　It shall be 2 years from the date of the contract.
　However, if desired, the period can be extended up to 5 years from the date of the contract.
　If you wish to extend the period, you must submit an application one month before the expiration of the contract.

Standards, contents, etc.

(1) The size per advertising mat shall be 120cm long x 180cm wide, and the entire surface shall be used as an advertising space.
(2) Advertisement content must comply with the advertising standards of Shimonoseki City University. Advertisements to be posted will be reviewed by the University before they are created.
(3) The design shall be friendly to students, faculty and staff and local residents, and shall be free of discomfort.
(4) The function of the advertising mat shall have the functions of cleaning the soles, dust-proof, water-absorbing, and non-slip.
(5) Make two or more advertising mats per place, including replacement during cleaning.

Installation fee

　30,000 yen per year per sheet (120 cm long x 180 cm wide) shall be paid to the University before installing the advertising mat.

Responsibilities of Installing Companies

(1) About making of advertisement mat, we perform in setting company, and all the costs shall be borne by setting company.
(2) About setting, exchange, maintenance and removal of advertising mat, we perform in setting company, and all the costs shall be borne by setting company.
(3) In principle, wash advertising mats at least once a month. In addition to normal replacement, if there is any significant contamination on the advertising mat, the University and the installation company should carry out replacement, cleaning, etc. after consultation.
(4) The installation company can sell the advertising space to be placed on the advertising mat and recruit the advertisers. However, even in this case, the installation company shall be responsible for any content of the advertisement.

How to apply

　Please read the application guidelines carefully, fill out the application form for Shimonoseki City University Advertisement Mat Installation (Form 1), attach the required documents, and mail or bring it to General Affairs Department General Affairs Division. In addition, when setting company receives request from advertiser and applies, please attach consent form (second style) of advertiser.
　At the time of application, the advertisement manuscript to be submitted may be at the draft stage, but please submit as close as possible to the manuscript you wish to publish so that the content of the advertisement can be fully reviewed by the university.
　If an application is made, it is deemed that you have accepted the contents of the application guidelines and have agreed to comply with them.
