About application for emergency special interest-free loan type scholarship (Japan Student Services Organization)

 Due to the expansion of the COVID-19 infection, household income and part-time income have been significantly reduced, and the economic impact on student life has been remarkable.
 Therefore, this time, we will implement the Japan Student Services Organization "Emergency Special Interest-Free Loan Type Scholarship", which provides special loans for a certain period of time as emergency support.
 This scholarship is provided by the government to compensate for interest while utilizing the Type 2 Scholarship (interest-bearing) system, and is loaned at virtually no interest.
 The procedure is as follows. If you wish to apply, the application documents will be distributed by the Student Support Group, so please contact the following office.

◆Target person ◆ A person who meets all of the following:
      ①Recommendation criteria (person, academic ability, household budget) for Class 2 scholarships 
      ②Have not received a Type 2 scholarship loan at the time of recommendation
      ③Have not received a large amount of remittance from your home (the amount of remittance is 1.5 million yen per year)
       That is not the case. ※Total amount of support from families, including tuition and rent
      ④The proportion of part-time job income to living expenses and tuition expenses is high.
      ⑤About part-time job income of students and others, COVID-19 infection 
       Significant decrease (down 50% or more from the previous month) due to the impact of expansion
◆Application deadline ◆ June Tuesday, June 30, 2020 15:00
      (Tuesday, August 11, when hired)
