The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) has notified that the application guidelines for students (P5 and P7) and some expressions in Form 2 have been revised regarding the title. The details of the revision are as follows.
If you have already submitted an application, etc., you do not need to resubmit or replace it.
[Before revision]
1.Those who meet the following 1 to 6 (for international students, those who meet 1 to 5 and 7)
⑥5) The new system or Class I scholarships (interest-free scholarships) cannot be used because they do not meet the requirements.

The “Emergency Student Support Benefit” was established to provide emergency cash payments to students and others who have difficulty in continuing their student life due to a decrease in part-time income due to the impact of the expansion of COVID-19 infection. (Cabinet decision on May 19, 2020)
This is a business in which cash is provided so that students who have difficulty continuing studying at universities, etc., do not give up studying. 200,000 yen will be paid to students who are exempt from residence tax, and 100,000 yen will be paid to students who are eligible for payment in other households.
