Notice of recruitment of students for the 2018 University Consortium Kanmon Open Lecture (for the general public)

 "University Consortium Kanmon" is a collaboration between higher education institutions in Kitakyusyu and Shimonoseki (Kitakyusyu City University, Kyushu Kyoritsu University, Kyushu International University, Shimonoseki City University, Nishi Nippon Institute of Technology). The aim is to enhance and develop higher education in the Kanmon area and contribute to the local community.
 University students enrolled in the credit-compatible agreement participating universities can take the course, and citizens can also participate as open lectures. We would like to inform you that this program will be held as follows.

Outline of the course

Course name: Health
Person in charge: Masashi Ogasawara
Overview: The environment surrounding us has changed, such as the development of transportation and the westernization of dietary habits, and the lifestyle of Japanese people has changed.
   It has a great impact. These changes in lifestyles, coupled with genetic factors and external environmental factors, are combined with these changes.
   It is greatly involved in the development of lifestyle-related diseases. Losing health only reduces the quality of life of the individual.
   Or, it can lead to a high burden social structure and detract the vitality of society as a whole.
    In this course, students will learn about the effects of everyday lifestyles such as exercise, eating habits, tobacco, drinking, and sleep on health.
   In addition, we review our own lifestyle habits, change them from where they can be improved, and health extends to the medical economy.
   We will consider the impact and health measures.
