[Report 2] Marketing strategy of financial institutions in Shimonoseki: Focus on location development―

Reporter: Associate Professor Yuya Sato, Faculty of Economics

Overview: Since fiscal 2016, we have been conducting analysis on the location of financial institutions in local cities and the development of financial services.
I've come. First, analysis is conducted at the prefectural level, and in the county, it is necessary to consolidate stores, complementing post offices and convenience stores.
We showed the need to build relationships (Mori, Sato, 2017). In fiscal 2017, we will use a more local spatial scale.
We believe that analysis is necessary, and this study aims to elucidate the location of financial institutions in Shimonoseki City and the mechanism of reorganization.
I did it. As a result of the analysis, there is a difference in location between the former Shimonoseki city and the former four towns from the distribution, and in recent years the difference has become more clearer.
    (2) The location of convenience stores is conscious of the location of convenience stores, but it is not spatially complementary, 3) empty from post offices
It became clear that it was complemented in time but cooperation was not progressing.
