The Kanmon Regional Joint Study Group, which consists of the Shimonoseki City University Regional Co-creation Center and the Kitakyusyu City University Regional Strategic Research Institute, has been engaged in various research and research on the Kanmon area since 1994.
Last year (FY2016), we conducted research in two fields, "inbound in the Kanmon area" and "financial support and education security for child poverty," from various issues surrounding the Kanmon area, and compiled them into three papers. Was. This time, we will hold a report on the results.
In addition to the research report, a symposium "Regional Disaster Prevention and Reconstruction" will be held at the results report meeting. Experts will take the stage to deepen discussions on "disaster prevention in the Kanmon Area and the direction of community development" based on the Kumamoto Earthquake and the Great East Japan Earthquake.
