#Symposium

The City Mirai Forum was held in 2023.

On January 11 (Thursday), we held the "2023 Urban Mirai Forum" hosted by the University of Tokyo Mirai Creation Strategic Organization.

This forum, which began last year, was planned as an academic event for the general public outside of the university to participate, and this year a keynote speech was scheduled by the General Manager of the General Affairs Division of the Japan Tourism Agency as a new attempt, but it was canceled immediately before the event.
As a result, the event was held only in the afternoon by our faculty members, but many people, including city council members and Shimonoseki City officials, participated in the event.

At the forum, various presentations were made on the main theme of sightseeing in the Kanmon area, and questions and answers were held with the participants for each presentation. In particular, as the title of the forum, discussions on the future of Shimonoseki City as a city were exciting, and a very lively exchange of opinions was held.

The City Mirai Creation Strategy Organization will continue to improve and continue through such events to provide refreshing and intellectual stimulus to more students, faculty and staff, and citizens.

The titles and presenters of each presentation of the 2023 Urban Mirai Forum are as follows.
