From August 2nd (Tuesday) to 18th (Thursday), 20 students from the fifth grade of Shimonoseki Secondary School (second-year high school students) held a seminar visit at our university.
This is a high-university collaboration initiative in which students at Shimonoseki Secondary School set themes from areas of interest and provide advice while conducting research over a year.
This year, Professor Tanaka, Professor Takeuchi, Professor Isogai, Associate Professor Ohno, Associate Professor Ohara and Associate Professor Kim provided advice on the contents of the research to all five groups.

Based on this advice, the students will summarize their research for the final presentation in winter.
I hope that this visit will lead to a further leap for the students.
