Students who meet the following requirements and wish to use the system should consult with Student Support Division in advance and apply by the deadline.

１．Recruitment of emergency special interest-free loan type scholarships
◆Requirements of the Target (persons who meet all of the following 1-5)
- Meet the criteria for Class 2 scholarships (person, academic ability, household budget)
- Have not received a Type 2 scholarship loan at the time of recommendation
- Have not received a large amount of remittance from home (the amount of remittance is not more than 1.5 million yen per year)
- High proportion of part-time job income to living expenses and tuition expenses
- Part-time income of students decreased significantly due to the impact of the expansion of COVID-19 infection.
(Part-time job income decreased by more than 50% in fiscal 2021 due to the expansion of COVID-19 infection, as it became an area for implementing “declaration of a state of emergency” and “Priority Measures to Prevent Spread”. I couldn't earn the expected income because I didn't pay for my planned part-time job.)
◆Lending period: In accordance with the application of "declaration of a state of emergency" or "Priority Measures for Prevention of Spread", from the desired month after the month when part-time job income declined significantly to March 2022 (the loan will be limited to fiscal 2021 only).
◆Documents to be submitted: The application documents will be handed over to Student Support Division. If you are interested, please contact us as soon as possible.
◆Final submission deadline (accepted from time to time): Friday, January 28, 2022 17:00
２．Extended loan period for Class 2 scholarships (for students of the highest grade)
◆Requirements of the Target (persons who meet all of the following 1-3)
- Those who have received a Type 2 scholarship loan in the highest grade in FY2021
※Including those who end loan in the middle of FY2021. - Those who are forced to attend school beyond the period of study due to the cancellation of job offer or the inability to decide where to work due to the influence of COVID-19 infection
- A person whose school principal recognizes the need for extending the enrollment period beyond the expected graduation period and lending scholarships
◆Extended period: Up to one year
※If the loan is scheduled to end in March 2022, it can be extended until March 2023.
◆Documents to be submitted: Application for extension of class 2 scholarship loan period (form is distributed by Student Support Division)
◆Submission deadline: Friday, January 7, 2022 17:00
