This national tournament is divided into nine blocks (Hokkaido, Tohoku, Kanto, Kita-Shinetsu, Tokai, Kansai, Chugoku, Shikoku, Kyushu), and the above five players will be Okayama Prefecture on October 3 (Sun). After a selection meeting held in Okayama Prefecture, I was selected as a player of the Chinese block national team.
On the campus, a send-off party was held on November 11 (Thursday), and a list of prize money from the university was handed to the captain of the semi-rigid baseball club by Chair.
Unfortunately, in the qualifying league match held at Rexam Stadium (Kagawa Prefecture) on November 13 (Saturday), the Chinese block national team unfortunately lost 2-8 to the Kansai block and 0-3 to the Tohoku block. All five players from our university participated and were able to play on the big stage of the national tournament.
In the game against the Tohoku block, pitcher Ono was assigned as the starting mound, and the university battery with Urakami catcher was realized.
Ono pitched a good pitch with no goal (56 pitches) five times, and Urakami catcher said, "It was a great pitch. (I retire in this tournament because I am a fourth grader) I finally set up a battery with my seniors and made a good memory. "
