There are great potential for recurrent education, which was offered this year, as well as for adult education at graduate schools. The Shimonoseki City University Satellite Campus was opened on the 6th floor of the Strait Messe Shimonoseki International Trading Building (Buzendacho), a 5-minute walk from Shimonoseki Station and a 5-minute walk from Shimonoseki Station.

On August 30 (Sun), the opening ceremony was held at Shimonoseki City University Satellite Campus (Room 602), and the ceremony was attended by President Yamamura, President Kawanami, Vice President Sunahara, Vice President of Korea, and three students from the Recurrent Education Center. With the greeting saying, "I hope that we will create the bustle of the city while fighting intellectual discussions," we opened a signboard at the entrance. After that, Kenji Yashiki, Chair, Yamaguchi International Center, invited me to the Strait Dream Tower Observation Room to commemorate the opening of the museum, and overlooked Shimonoseki City under the blessed sunny weather. In addition to expectations and excitement, the first lecture at the satellite campus was held in remote and face-to-face classes.

<Overview of Facilities>
In the room of about 90 square meters, there is a lecture space where small lectures and meetings can be held, and an office space with an open semi-private room faculty and staff desk. The indoor environment, fully equipped with Wi-Fi and highly movable, can flexibly respond to various situations such as lectures, seminar activities, and individual guidance.
In addition, the convenience of transportation, a 5-minute walk from JR Shimonoseki Station and the bus terminal, and the good access to various surrounding facilities (library, coffee shops, commercial facilities with books and stationery, business hotels, etc.) It is a location that supports learning.
