-Jojima, Kurume-shi, Saijo, Higashihiroshima-shi-
Reporter: Professor Faculty of Economics Nanba
Collaborators: Hitoshi Mikana, Associate Professor, Faculty of Economics
Overview:
As the local economy continues to grow in a rapidly declining population and ultra-low birthrate and aging situation, local expectations for town development and tourism utilizing local resources are high. This is because it is possible to regenerate historically friendly and attractive towns by making effective use of existing social capital existing in the region. This report covers the areas in which two sake brewerys are located, and explains strategies for creating communities that are created together with local residents and people outside the region.
[Report 2: Industry-Government-Academia Studies] Research on the causes of job separation of nursing and nursing care workers
Reporter: Professor Faculty of Economics Nanba
Collaborators: Professor Yumiko Tanaka, Professor Faculty of Economics
Overview:
There is an imbalance between supply and demand for medical and welfare services in Japan. In particular, the problem is that the shortage of nursing and nursing staff has made it difficult to provide medical and welfare services tailored to the community. Nursing and nursing care staff are looking for a better environment workplace that can take advantage of their individual abilities. In this report, we will explain the factors behind the turnover of nursing and nursing staff.
