The Kanmon Regional Joint Study Group, which consists of the Shimonoseki City University Regional Co-creation Center and the Kitakyusyu City University Regional Strategic Research Institute, has been engaged in various research and research on the Kanmon area since 1994.
Last year (FY2018), we conducted research in two fields, "Active Senior" and "Japan Heritage," from among the issues surrounding the Kanmon area. This time, we will hold a report on the results.
In addition to the research report, we will hold a symposium titled “Possibility for Regional Revitalization Utilizing Cultural Properties” in the Kanmon Area. Experts and students from both universities will discuss the current status of initiatives in the Kanmon area, which has rich cultural properties, and matters necessary to further connect the power of cultural properties in the Kanmon area through regional revitalization. Deepen the discussion.
