On July 10, 2019 (Wednesday), a public lecture entitled "Basic Knowledge on Distribution: New Phase of Competition between Retail Business Models" was held at the I-201 classroom on the second floor of the main building of the University.

　Professor Yukihiro Mori of Department of International Commerce Faculty of Economics gave a basic explanation of what distribution is and what kind of economic activities it is, and explained today's trend of inter-regional competition, especially the movement of "real retail business" in response to the rapid development of online shopping. The participants listened enthusiastically. After the course, participants and the lecturer exchanged opinions, and the course was very fulfilling.

　This is the last public lecture at Civic University in the spring semester of 2019, but we are also preparing courses for the fall semester. We will inform you at a later date. We look forward to your participation.
