On Thursday, January 18, a ceremony was held at our university to conclude an agreement on comprehensive cooperation between Shimonoseki City Board of Education and Shimonoseki City University.

　At the signing ceremony, President, Korea, said, "I would like to create a virtuous cycle of human resource development that fosters the human resources needed in the region at local educational institutions and work for the community." Following, Dr. Isobe said, "Promotion of policy formation that emphasizes data while cooperating utilizing the expertise and knowledge of municipal universities for multifaceted and diverse policy issues.

　After the greeting, President of Korea and the Superintendent of Education Isobe signed and exchanged the agreement and concluded the agreement.

　The Shimonoseki City Board of Education and our university will continue to cooperate with each other under comprehensive cooperation based on this agreement, and strive to further enhance and develop education in Shimonoseki City and education and research at universities.
