"Let's learn the essence of Japanese culture! Since fiscal 2008, the program has been held since fiscal 2008 with the aim of encouraging all students, including international students, to become interested in Japanese culture and to understand them.

　The second year of 2022 was held on Monday, November 7 with the teachers of Hanayanagi-ryu Shihan. Participants wore kimono, hakama, and yukata, and learned how to live in kimono. Thanks to the waist tightened in the obi, the posture was adjusted, and a beautiful gesture was made up to the fingertips. After that, we learned the choreography of Hanagasa Ondo and enjoyed dancing together. Finally, all participants had Shimonoseki's specialty souvenirs from the Shimo Kansai Lions Club.
　We will continue to learn about the essence of Japanese culture in 2023, so please join us.
