On February 9 (Wednesday), we held a Phug symposium online.
　This symposium was held online under the title "Towards the Restoration of Shimonoseki Fuku Brand".
　Dr. Shugo Watabe, Professor Emeritus of the University of Tokyo and Specially Appointed Professor of the Faculty of Marine Life Sciences, Kitasato University, gave a presentation on the issue of the symposium.
　Dr. Takashi Sato, the general moderator, proceeded, and the symposium proceeded. In Part 1, individual lectures and reports were given by seven instructors. The instructors talked from various angles on each theme.
　In the second part, the lecturers continued to discuss the theme of a panel discussion, "Strategic Issues for the Restoration of Shimonoseki Fugu Brand". There was a question and answer session from the participants, and it was a heated panel discussion.
　Finally, Mr. Takashi Sato gave the closing remarks and finished. Despite the daytime on weekdays, many people participated. It was a very fruitful symposium with enthusiastic listening to the symposium, and with valuable opinions and suggestions.

　In fiscal 2021, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, it was a year of trial and error to return to everyday life. While there were events held online and events implemented to prevent infection, there were also events that were forced to cancel. In the next fiscal year, we will plan and implement it in a better way while looking at the infection status of Corona. In addition, we will focus on regional cooperation and contribute more to the region. We look forward to your continued understanding and cooperation.
