"Let's know the essence of Japanese culture!!" has been holding various exchange meetings since 2008 with the aim of inspiring and understanding all students of our university, including international students, to become interested in Japanese culture.
The first time in 2023 is "a journey around the culture and nature of Yamaguchi". Rurikoji Temple Five-storied Pagoda in Yamaguchi City undergoes major renovations once every 70 years. We will observe while listening to the explanation of the volunteer guide. You will also explore one of the largest limestone caves in the Orient (Akiyoshidai Akiyoshi-do Cave). Finally, visit Motonosumi-jinja Shrine (former Motonosumi Inari Shrine), a 123 red-painted torii gate that runs from the hill to the sea, and experience the fusion of nature and culture.
Would you like to visit the culture and nature of Yamaguchi together?
