Research Keywords
Current research theme
"Germany's relative financial soundness"
In recent years, Germany has maintained a relatively good financial performance despite the impact of the global financial crisis. The attention to Germany’s relative fiscal soundness was not beginning now, but was subject to discussion every time after the war. It is generally pointed out that one of the main factors behind Germany's relative fiscal soundness is Germany's conservative fiscal finance tradition. The current research theme is to historically examine the extent to which these generalized discussions are appropriate. In addition, one of the major challenges is to draw out implications for Japanese finance through international comparisons.

Classes and Seminars
My seminar
In specialized exercises, students will develop their ability to discover, analyze, and consider their own "questions", and derive their own answers to "questions". We understand that there are areas of "what we want to do" and areas of "what we can do", and strive to overlap as much as possible. I think that the characteristic of this seminar is that you can experience such an experience.
