About recruitment of naming rights partners
In order to improve the educational and research environment of the University, Shimonoseki City University is recruiting corporations that wish to become naming rights partners for facilities owned by the University, with the aim of securing new financial resources for the future and promoting the expansion of their own income.
Overview of Naming Rights
You can assign nicknames to OIST facilities and other property, and place advertisements using company names, trademark names, corporate logos, symbol marks, etc.
We have a “property specific type” that identifies facilities and conducts public offerings, and a “suggestion recruitment type” that is always waiting for proposals. Please consider it as one of them.
Types of Naming Rights, Fees and How to Apply

The University will identify the target facilities, present necessary matters related to recruitment of naming rights fees, agreement periods, etc., and conduct public offerings. |

| 2. Proposal recruitment type |
We receive a proposal for naming rights inside and outside the building (such as classroom entrances) and conclude an agreement. Prices are set according to the size of the panel. |
How to apply
Please read the application guidelines carefully, fill out the Naming Rights Partner Application Form (Attachment Form 1), attach the required documents, and mail or bring it to General Affairs Division General Affairs Department. In the event of an application, it is deemed that you have accepted the contents of the application guidelines and have agreed to comply with them.
Application period
We are accepting applications and consultations from time to time. ※Weekdays from 9:00 to 17:00 (excluding weekends and holidays)
Reference materials
About recruitment of advertising mat setting company (as needed)
TUFS conducts advertising business with the aim of securing self-income and reducing costs by providing personal property or real estate owned as advertising media. Therefore, we are looking for businesses that will install advertising mats on campus as follows.
(Reference) There are about 2,000 students enrolled in the university, and about 100 faculty members working in the university.
Application period
We will recruit at any time. However, if all installation locations are determined, recruitment will be suspended.
Location of installation
Please refer to Attachment 1 “Advertisement Mat Installation Location Map”. In addition, if you wish to install it in a place other than recruiting this time, we will consider it separately.
Installation period
It shall be two years from the date of the contract.
However, if desired, the period can be extended up to 5 years from the date of the contract.
If you wish to extend the period, you must submit an offer at least one month before the expiration of the contract.
Standards, contents, etc.
- The size per ad mat shall be 120cm long x 180cm wide, and the entire area shall be used as an advertising space.
- Advertisement content should comply with the advertising standards of Shimonoseki City University. Advertisements to be posted will be reviewed by the University prior to creation.
- The design shall be friendly and discomfort to students, faculty and staff and local residents.
- The function of the advertising mat shall have the functions of cleaning the sole, dustproof, water absorption, and non-slip.
- Create two or more advertising mats per place, including replacement at the time of washing.
Installation fee
30,000 yen per year for each piece (120cm x 180cm) shall be paid to the University before installing the advertising mat.
Responsibilities of the Establishment Company
- About making of advertisement mat, we perform in setting company, and all the costs shall be borne by setting company.
- About setting, interchange, maintenance and removal of advertising mat, we perform in setting company, and all the costs shall be borne by setting company.
- In principle, wash advertising mats at least once a month. In addition to regular replacements, if there is significant contamination in the advertising mat, please carry out replacement, cleaning, etc. after consultation between the University and the installation company.
- The installation company can sell the advertising space to be placed on the advertising mat and recruit the advertisers. However, even in this case, all responsibility for the content of the advertisement shall be borne by the installation company.
How to apply
Please read the application guidelines carefully, fill out the “Shimonoseki City University Advertising Mat Installation Application Form” (Form 1), attach the required documents, and mail or bring it to General Affairs Division General Affairs Department. In addition, when setting company receives request from advertiser and applies, please attach consent form of advertiser (second style).
At the time of application, the advertisement manuscript to be submitted may be at the draft stage, but please submit as close as possible to the manuscript you wish to publish so that the content of the advertisement can be sufficiently examined by the University.
In the event of an application, it is deemed that you have accepted the contents of the application guidelines and have agreed to comply with them.
