Home students
What you want to do, what you are interested in, and a lot of college life
I go to university for about 1 hour and 30 minutes one way by train and bicycle. If there is a period, you may have to leave the house at 6:50 or you may not be able to return home with empty frames, but I think that the advantage of home life is that you can rely on your parents in terms of life.
I think one of the attractions of City University is that it is easy to make friends. In particular, English classes are divided into classes regardless of department, so it is easy to make friends with people from other departments. I play volleyball with my friends in the gymnasium on empty frames.
I originally went to Department of Public Management because I wanted to be a civil servant, but now I listen to my graduates and think about getting a job at a private company. The high employment rate is also one of the attractions of City University. I am engaged in two activities: the Valley Club and the Co-op Student Committee freshmen supporters. Sometimes I think I'm busy, but I'm trying to do as many things as I can to make it okay for any profession. I think college students can do a lot of things they want to do. Take the challenge of what you want to do!

I went to school by bicycle from Hatabu Station to university. It's early in the morning, so it's a short time by bicycle! Shimonoseki has a strong wind, so be careful!

Living alone
Leave your local area and expand your horizons in a new area
I had the option of going on to a local university, but I went to Shimonoseki City University to gain various experiences and broaden my horizons. When I actually started living alone, I realized very well how blessed I was so far. I am very grateful to my parents. Homework, such as self-catering, washing, and cleaning, is really hard, but I think this is also an experience and I do my best every day. On weekdays, I often use the cafeteria of the university, but I also cook on holidays. Well cooked rice is stir-fried with vegetables and meat!
I chose Department of Economics because I wanted to learn the flow of money and the structure of society, but in fact, I have not yet decided on my future course, so I have also chosen a teaching course. If you do your best at City University, you can get a teacher's license. Even if you haven't decided yet, I think that one of the attractions of City University is that there are many occupations that you can choose.
Unlike high school, I think the important thing in university life is to manage your own time and move actively from yourself. City University has many kind seniors, so please feel free to consult anything!

7:00
I'm cooking at home. On weekdays, I eat from breakfast in the cafeteria of the university, but on holidays, I work hard to cook myself to save money. The most confident one is curry.

12:00
I'm having a chat with my friends on the terrace of the cafeteria in the university. City University is a relatively small university, so there are many faces that you often see on campus, making it easy to build relationships with people.

15:00
Self-study at the library using empty frames. If you try to take a teaching position, you will have more subjects. Textbooks also have thick subjects, and we make effective use of time to take credits.

18:00
Class 5 ends at 18:00. In addition to regular classes, it is important to take extracurricular courses, and to actively move on your own at university.
