Example of conversion for university entrance exams

If the results of a common test are as follows:
Japanese language Foreign language Mathematics① Mathematics② Local history civilians Sciences① Sciences②
English※ Number of IA Number of IIBs Japanese History B Modern Society Biotechnology and Chemical Foundation Organisms
130 140 70 40 80 50 60 30

Converting 74 points + listening 60 points (74 points x 1.4 + 60 points x 0.6) Refer to the [Socation, etc.] column below

If you take the first half-year method ...
Japanese language Foreign language Mathematics① Mathematics② Local history civilians Sciences① Sciences②
English Number of IA Number of IIBs Japanese History B Modern Society Biotechnology and Chemical Foundation Organisms
130 140 70 40 80 50 60 30

Total = [Japanese language] 130 points + [English] 140 points + [Number IA] 70 points + [Japanese history B] 80 points = 420 points / 600 points

If you take the first half of the first half ...
Japanese language Foreign language Mathematics① Mathematics② Local history civilians Sciences① Sciences②
English Number of IA Number of IIBs Japanese History B Modern Society Biotechnology and Chemical Foundation Organisms
130 140 70 40 80 50 60 30

Total = [English] 140 points + ([Number IA] 70 points + [Japanese History B] 80 points) x 1.5 = 365 points / 500 points

To take the middle term (Department of International Commerce)
Japanese language Foreign language Mathematics① Mathematics② Local history civilians Sciences① Sciences②
English Number of IA Number of IIBs Japanese History B Modern Society Biotechnology and Chemical Foundation Organisms
130 140 70 40 80 50 60 30

Total = [Japanese language] 130 points + [English] 140 points + [Japanese History B] 80 points + [Contemporary Society] 50 points = 400 points / 600 points
