Opening hours

• The closing period is based on the academic year calendar of the university.
• When the opening hours are temporarily changed, we will notify you on notices and websites.

Closed days

• Date of organizing the building (1st of every month) ※If the first day is a Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the next weekday, and if during the test period, the next weekday after the test is completed.
• Holidays, New Year's Holidays (December 28 to January 3)
• Days related to university festival and university entrance examination
• Please refer to the library calendar for details.
• When the museum is closed temporarily, it will be announced on the bulletin board and website.

Classification of use

• Faculty and staff (including part-time lecturers and emeritus professors)
• Students of the University (including graduate students, course students, and special students)
• Graduates of the University and retired faculty members
• 5 Users based on the Library of Shimonoseki City University Mutual Use Agreement for Higher Education Institutions in Shimonoseki City
• Users based on a partnership agreement with Shimonoseki Secondary School in Yamaguchi Prefecture
• Public users (Shimonoseki citizens, etc.)
• Other persons authorized by the director of the library
