How to use

Lending

Please bring the materials you want to borrow and the student ID card (user ID) to the counter.
Prohibited materials cannot be borrowed, so please use them inside the museum.

  • Books can be booked separately from the normal lending slot for special research such as writing papers.
    Please fill out the required form and submit it to the counter.

Return

Please bring the materials to be returned to the counter.
It is also possible to post it to the return box installed at the front entrance on the 1st floor of the main building.

  • Please bring books wet with water directly to the library counter.
  • Items with attached materials such as CDs should be returned at the counter along with books and CDs.

If returned after the deadline, new loans cannot be made for the excess number of days.
If the number of extra days exceeds 60 days, you will not be able to enter the museum.
If it is difficult to return within the deadline due to illness, etc., please contact the library.

Extension

You can extend it once only if there is no reservation in the material you want to extend.
The following materials cannot be extended.

  • Continuous publications (magazines, university bulletins)
  • Books that have already been extended once (extended up to once)
  • Books borrowed in special obi

Reservation

If the material you want to borrow is already on loan, you can make a reservation. Please fill out the prescribed form and submit it to the counter. Alternatively, you can make a reservation from the My Portal.

Copying

Materials held in the University Library can be copied within the scope of copyright.
A copy machine is installed in the reading room on the second floor. Please be sure to submit the application documents at the counter before use.
The fee for copying is 10 yen per copy (monochrome only).
Available sizes are A4, A3, B5, B4.

Please observe the following.

  • The materials must be owned by the University. (Notes and materials brought in are not allowed.)
  • The published work must be a part, not all.
  • Periodical publications (including newspapers) must be other than the latest issue.
  • The number of copies is limited to one person and must not be re-copyed.
  • For research and research of users.

Reference

Application for book purchase (students only)

You can apply for the purchase of books necessary for research, educational or learning.
Please fill out the required form and submit it to the counter.
Teachers have a separate form, so please contact Library Division.

Language AV Room

Audiovisual materials such as CDs, DVDs, and videos held in the university library are available.
If you wish to use it, please fill out the required form and submit it to the counter.
In principle, one use time shall be within 2 hours.
Materials brought in cannot be reproduced.

Group Study Room (only for students on campus)

It can be used with 2 to 10 people.
Reservation is required, and reservations can be made 2 weeks before the desired date of use. Please fill out the required form and submit it to the counter.
For the application on the day, it can be used if there is a vacant room and there is no reservation.
In principle, one use time shall be within one class unit (90 minutes).

Internet PC (only on campus)

You can use various databases.
Please fill out the required form and submit it to the counter.
One use time is 1 hour in principle. If there is no other applicant, you can extend it for one hour.

  • Databases that need to be on-campus access can also be accessed from the computer training room.

Mutual use (only on campus)

If you want to visit a library of another institution and use it

In most cases, a letter of introduction from your university is required in advance.
Please contact the library counter with plenty of time before visiting, and we will issue a letter of introduction.
Please be sure to bring your student ID card and letter of introduction when visiting other museums.

If you want to order books from another library

It can be used when there is no holding at the university, so please check the holdings at the university first.
Materials borrowed from other museums can only be used in the library. You can't take it out of the museum.
Please fill out the required form and submit it to the counter.
Costs such as postage will be borne by the client.

If you want to order a copy from another library

It can be used when there is no holding at the university, so please check the holdings at the university first.
It is necessary to identify the desired location for copying.

  • Title or magazine name
  • In the case of magazines, the date of publication or number of volumes
  • Thesis name, author name, number of pages

Please fill out the required form and submit it to the counter.
Costs such as copying fees and postage will be borne by the client.

How to log in

You need to set a password when you log in for the first time. (The same procedure is true if you forget your password and reissue it.)

② Enter your student ID number and press [Send].

③ Click the URL in the "Password Issuance Confirmation" email sent to the university email address. Enter your student ID number again.

④ A temporary password will be issued, so enter your student ID number and temporary password on the login screen in 1 to log in. ※Make notes to use it until you change your password in My Portal.

⑤ You can check your usage status, book reservations, purchase requests, and mutual use (ILL).

Functions

Inquiry of personal use

You can see the lending status, reservation status, book purchase application, literature copy / borrowing request status, and loan history (for the past year).

My book list

You can add it to your book list from the OPAC search results screen.

Document copying and lease application

You can apply for requests to obtain documents and books from other university libraries.

Library book purchase application

You can request books that you want to prepare for the library. The purchase will be decided after examination by the library director.
