Develop an international sense from transactions and organizational research
At Department of International Commerce, students will learn about the mechanisms and methods of international transactions, international activities of organizations (corporate, etc.) and the principles of conduct based on commerce and business administration, as well as deepen their knowledge of regional understanding and corporate management in East Asia. In addition, we will develop the ability to solve the realities of the East Asian market and the problems faced by modern companies through finance, marketing, accounting, etc. In this department, you can deepen your expertise and practical skills in the following three major application areas. In "International and East Asia", we will approach trends related to international economies, such as trade and development economies, from a global perspective. In distribution and marketing, students learn about the flow of products and services and the competitive behavior between companies, focusing on trading (trading) in the market. Furthermore, in "Management and Accounting," we conduct research on the activities of companies and other organizations through management and financial data.

Eri Yamanaka (from Tobata High School, Fukuoka Prefecture)
I have been interested in the qualifications of customs clearers since high school, and I wanted to be an economic department where I could learn about those qualifications and logistics. Shimonoseki City University was strong in finding employment and being able to attend from his parents' home, Kitakyusyu, was also a decisive factor in going on to school.
In "Company Analysis I", which analyzes corporate performance by looking at profit and loss statements and balance sheets based on knowledge of accounting, I was highly evaluated for my sincere efforts in learning materials and reports, and I became confident in accounting. In addition to obtaining qualifications such as bookkeeping among students, I strive every day to make use of what I have learned at that time in order to obtain a customs clearer qualification after employment. The study space on the first floor of the library is quiet and easy to study, so I often use it.
I was very helpful at the time of job hunting from the friendship of a wide range of age groups built through part-time jobs and hobbies, so I realized the importance of expanding relationships with people and the circle of exchange. The range of activities in seminars and circles is expanding, and we have a fun school life.

Is the convenience store a date spot? To ensure a successful opening of a Japanese company overseas
Convenience stores are one of the shops where you can easily drop in. However, convenience stores for Japanese companies that opened in Southeast Asia are positioned as high-end stores locally. There are also stores that make the building a two-story building and have a large eating and drinking space inside the store, and there are plenty of variations. In some cases, couples make dating destinations, and they are used like cafes. In this way, convenience stores that Japanese think and convenience stores that foreigners think are not the same.
