"Germany's relative financial soundness"
　In recent years, Germany has maintained a relatively good financial performance despite the impact of the global financial crisis. The attention to Germany’s relative fiscal soundness was not beginning now, but was subject to discussion every time after the war. It is generally pointed out that one of the main factors behind Germany's relative fiscal soundness is Germany's conservative fiscal finance tradition. The current research theme is to historically examine the extent to which these generalized discussions are appropriate. In addition, one of the major challenges is to draw out implications for Japanese finance through international comparisons.
