Current research theme
Industrial agglomeration and innovation: We consider economic disparities and opportunity disparities between regions as issues, and conduct research on comparisons between cities. In particular, we are studying the spatial characteristics of innovation systems by focusing on regional disparities in R&D functions that stand out in today's knowledge economy society.
Data Platform Development: We are also working on data platform development (DATASALAD, outing watcher) to expand the utilization of regional economic data and promote tourism.

My seminar
Based on the practical experience of the faculty members themselves, they aim to acquire skills that will be useful after the preparation of reports and papers and employment by presenting and discussing themes related to the local economy. The emphasis is on getting to know the issues that are occurring in the local region from the national government and to have their own thoughts.
