On December 6, 2014, at the Karato Satellite Campus, the Fall Semester Open Lecture “Policy Trends in School Education and Regional Relationships: From the Perspective of“ Creating Schools with Local Communities ”” was held.

Associate Professor AMANO Kaori, who is in charge of teaching at TUFS, gave a lecture on the introduction of "Community Schools", changes in "School Evaluation Guidelines", and "School Support Regional Headquarters". Participants received opinions based on their own local activities and questions about the status of "Community School" in Shimonoseki City, and were able to actively exchange opinions. .
