At the opening ceremony, Mr. Naoki Yoshizu, President of Shimonoseki Future University, gave a greeting, and then gave the first lecture entitled "Expectations for Shimonoseki Future University-New Development from Learning to Practice" with Mayor Tomoaki Nakao. did. In the lecture, "I don't forget my dreams." It is to achieve it step by step with goals. "And, open the way where you are willing, let's practice first rather than think." It was a story. In addition, the course was completed with the idea that "We aim to educate human resources who can participate in local community development through the participation and cooperation of residents in the future." .
Shimonoseki Mirai University has been offering a variety of courses focusing on themes specializing in Shimonoseki as a place for learning jointly held with Shimonoseki City since 2012.
In the future, students will be divided into the desired departments and will take the second course.
From June to October, 10 courses will be offered in each department, and on the last day, a certificate of completion will be awarded to those who attended at least two-thirds.
