Under the theme of "Lights-Voctachishidai-", the 54th Shimonoseki City University University Festival "Maguan Festival" was held for three days from October 10, 2015. The theme of this theme is to plural Light, a symbol of a brilliant spirit, and to make each person involved in the Maguan Festival shine, become a big light together, and brighten up many people both inside and outside the university. In addition, the subtitle "Voctachishidai" expresses the determination that students of our university will believe in their potential and take the initiative to improve the Maguan Festival.
At the Maguan Festival, as a theme-based project, a candle night illuminated the large stairs of Campus Plaza with over 200 candles, and a mock shop grand prix to compete for the satisfaction of the mock shop were held. In addition, visitors were served with traditional Fukunabe, a traditional Fukunabe of the University Festival Executive Committee, invited entertainers to hold free comedy live outdoors, and the event showed hospitality to visitors.
