On October 1, 2015 (Thursday), a lecture on support for students with disabilities was held for faculty and staff.
67 faculty and staff participated, with Professor Tsutomu Ogawa, Deputy Director of the Education Center of Yamaguchi University and Deputy Director of Student Special Support Office.

He gave a lecture on understanding support needs, procedures for making support decisions, and on-campus cooperation such as study support, in order to facilitate the smooth response of reasonable accommodation provisions of the Disability Discrimination Law. I also deepened my thoughts on how to provide support for independence as an educational institution that connects to society.

Taking the opportunity of the lecture, faculty and staff members' awareness of supporting students with disabilities has been further increased. We will continue to strive for educational activities and student support throughout the university.
