We held workshops on understanding the dangers of alcohol and preventing harassment.

During the lunch break on October 2, 2015 (Friday), we held a seminar on understanding the dangers of alcohol and preventing alcohol harassment under the theme of "Alcohol and Health." 106 people, including representatives of circles and student groups, participated, with Hiroyuki Moriguchi, a mental health and welfare counselor at Shimonoseki City Shimonoseki Public Health Center as a lecturer.
Students learned basic knowledge of alcohol, understanding the dangers of alcohol for minors, and prevention of alcohol harassment. Participants listened seriously to immediate useful stories, such as how to calculate the amount of pure alcohol contained in liquor and how to respond to alcohol-related emergencies. Participants are to bring back what they have learned to each circle and share it.
